Basketball Game Preview: Reseda Regents vs. San Fernando Tigers

The Reseda Regents will face off against the San Fernando Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Reseda's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

Reseda will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Sylmar, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Reseda walked away with a 72-61 victory over Sylmar on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, San Fernando was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 55-51 to Van Nuys. The Tigers have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Reseda will need focus on slowing down Brandon Robinson, one of several San Fernando players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Reyes, who put up 13 points.

San Fernando's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-9. As for Reseda, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
