Basketball Recap: Kennard Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Kennard won the last time they faced Broaddus and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers took down the Bulldogs 45-30. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Broaddus lost, don't look at Ransom Sowell. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-20 to rack up 22 points. Sowell's big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Kennard's record now sits at 15-10. As for Broaddus, they moved to 15-12 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kennard will square off against rival Zavalla at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Broaddus is set to face off against their familiar foe Wells at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
