Andrew Jackson Academy extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from McKinnley Beard. The Warriors walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders on Thursday with plenty of help from Beard, who had 24 kills, five aces, four blocks, and three digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 42 times she's played.

Andrew Jackson Academy got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The final score came out to 28-30, 25-14, 25-14, 25-16.

Andrew Jackson Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bella Carrigg, who had 38 assists and three digs. That's the most assists Carrigg has posted over her last six matchups. Kinslie Carson was another key player, getting six digs, four aces, and one block.

Andrew Jackson Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They served two more aces than Bamberg-Ehrhardt's also-impressive total of ten.

Despite the loss, Bamberg-Ehrhardt saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Joslyn Bishop had nine assists and two aces.

Andrew Jackson Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-1.
