Basketball Game Preview: Heritage Huskies vs. Chapel Hill Tigers

The Heritage Huskies will venture away from home to take on the Chapel Hill Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Heritage can't be too worried about heading out to take on Chapel Hill: they just beat Knightdale at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Heritage walked away with a 53-46 victory over Knightdale on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Chapel Hill came up short against Jordan on Saturday and fell 59-46. The Tigers have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Heritage will have to contain Jason Krieg as he made an impact in Chapel Hill's last game. He on his way to 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most points Krieg has posted since back in December of 2024. Brian Rollins was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Heritage, their win bumped their record up to 15-11.

Heritage couldn't quite finish off Chapel Hill in their previous matchup back in January and fell 51-48. Can Heritage avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
