Basketball Recap: Northview Chiefs vs. Flomaton Hurricanes
The Northview Chiefs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They fell to Flomaton 47-43.
Despite the loss, Northview still got an impressive performance from Kayleigh Jay, who scored ten points.
Northview's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.8 points per game. As for Flomaton, their win bumped their record up to 4-14.
Northview will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Hurricanes at 5:00 p.m. As for Flomaton, they will head out on the road to face off against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. T.R. Miller will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
