Basketball Recap: Palacios Comes Up Short

Palacios lost against Rice Consolidated back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Palacios Sharks took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rice Consolidated Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Sharks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1357th, while the Raiders are ranked 641st).

Palacios' loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-23. As for Rice Consolidated, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-7.

As of now, neither Palacios nor Rice Consolidated have any future games scheduled.
