Volleyball Recap: Bethel Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bethel came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Masuk Panthers, falling 3-0. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-21, 25-14.

Mary-Kate Boyle was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 11 digs and three assists. Grace Kehoe also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Bethel's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Masuk, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Bethel will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bunnell at 5:30 p.m. on the 14th. As for Masuk, they will head out to face off against Pomperaug at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
