Baseball Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Geneva was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 14-1 to the Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Red Raiders: they've now lost six in a row.

Geneva saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ynael Rivera-Pagan, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Geneva's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Palmyra-Macedon, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Geneva does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palmyra-Macedon, they will venture away from home to square off against East at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
