Soccer Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Ingraham

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ingraham walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Silas on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given Ingraham's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 85th, while Silas is ranked 31st).

Ingraham is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-4 record this season. As for Silas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-5-2.

Looking ahead, Ingraham will face off against Bishop Blanchet at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Silas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
