It's playoff time, and Burns had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 36-31 victory over the Banks Braves on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Hilanders, who have now won four games in a row.

Several Braves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jarrett Martin, who picked up 170 receiving yards and one TD. Martin also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making one tackle and defending three passes. Wyatt Jackson was another key receiver, picking up 58 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Burns' victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Banks, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.

Coming up, Burns will square off against Cascade Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hilanders 10.1, the Challengers 4.3) so any points scored will be well earned. Banks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
