Basketball Recap: Fellowship Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Fellowship Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against Coastal Brigade, falling 46-10.

Coastal Brigade found their leader in sophomore Beau Brake, who posted eight points along with five boards and three steals. Brake has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade Lewis, who had four points.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Coastal Brigade, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Fellowship Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-16 loss against Ahoskie Christian on the 14th. As for Coastal Brigade, they have also already played their next game, a 49-38 win against Heritage Christian Academy on the 14th.
