Basketball Recap: Mayflower Falls Short of Central in the Playoffs

Mayflower and Central squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mayflower had to settle for second. They were dealt a 55-27 loss at the hands of the Central Cougars. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Mayflower's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Mayflower nor Central have any future games scheduled.
