Seneca East posted their closest victory since March 29th on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Carey Blue Devils, sneaking past 3-1. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 6-5 win the Blue Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Braydon Robinson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

The victory made it two in a row for Seneca East and bumps their season record up to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Carey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Seneca East will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blue Devils: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
