Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Los Alamos). They were the clear victor by a 55-30 margin over the Moriarty Pintos on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Hilltoppers have posted against the Pintos since February 4, 2023.

Los Alamos' win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 4-22. As for Moriarty, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

Los Alamos will head out on the road to challenge Espanola Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Espanola Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Los Alamos surely won't give up without a fight. Moriarty does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
