Baseball Game Preview: Centennial Huskies vs. Beckman Patriots

The Centennial Huskies will head out to face off against the Beckman Patriots at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Centennial will be strutting in after a victory while Beckman will be coming in after a loss.

Beckman will be up against a hot Centennial squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Centennial walked away with a 6-1 win over Shadow Hills on Saturday.

Joseph Malki spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up six Ks. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Michael Nonis was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Charles Rogers was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Beckman came up short against Cajon on Saturday and fell 4-1.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Beckman, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
