Baseball Recap: Westfall Has No Trouble Against Adena

Westfall's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They never let the Adena Warriors get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

Cash Conrad made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Westfall got a massive performance out of Brenden Tuttle, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Tuttle a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaden Towler, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Westfall was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Westfall's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Adena, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
