Soccer Preview: Wheeling vs. Barrington
Wheeling is 0-6 against Barrington since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Wheeling Wildcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Barrington Fillies/Broncos at 5:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, Wheeling kept a clean sheet against Proviso East. They had just enough and edged the Pirates out 1-0. The win was just what Wheeling needed coming off of a 9-0 defeat in their prior contest.
