Volleyball Recap: Shelbyville Gets the Win

Shelbyville picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Altamont Indians by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Avery Bland paced Shelbyville's offense, picking up eight kills. Bland got some help from Ava Corley and her 18 assists. Finally, Kenzie Jones kept Shelbyville's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Shelbyville's victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Altamont, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13-2.

Shelbyville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hillsboro on the 11th. As for Altamont, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Okaw Valley on the 11th.
