Basketball Game Preview: Harmony Area Owls vs. Ferndale Yellow Jackets

The Harmony Area Owls are taking a road trip to challenge the Ferndale Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Harmony Area has now lost 14 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 7.

Harmony Area might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 46-43 to Purchase Line, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Ferndale's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. The game between them and Conemaugh Valley didn't end well, with Ferndale falling 71-57. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (55), the Yellow Jackets still had to take the loss.

Ferndale's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7. As for Harmony Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-16.

Harmony Area might still be hurting after the 58-34 loss they got from Ferndale in their previous matchup on Tuesday. Can Harmony Area avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
