Soccer Game Preview: Boswell vs. Crowley

The Boswell Pioneers will face off against the Crowley Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Boswell's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Boswell's offense. They came up short against Mansfield on Tuesday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Boswell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 665th, while Mansfield are ranked 308th).

Meanwhile, Crowley kept a clean sheet against Weatherford on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Kangaroos 1-0.

Boswell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-2. As for Crowley, they now have a winning record of 8-7-2.
