Soccer Game Preview: John F. Kennedy vs. Luling

The John F. Kennedy Rockets are taking a road trip to face off against the Luling Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. John F. Kennedy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.

Last Friday, John F. Kennedy got the win against Young Men's Leadership Academy by a conclusive 8-2. Landon Miller was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Luling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to San Antonio Memorial.

Luling's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for John F. Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-14.

John F. Kennedy took their win against Luling in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for John F. Kennedy since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
