Basketball Game Preview: Homer Pelicans vs. Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers

Homer and Jonesboro-Hodge are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Homer Pelicans will host the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Last Monday, Homer came up short against Lincoln Prep and fell 58-47.

Meanwhile, Jonesboro-Hodge took a blow against Ringgold on Tuesday, falling 61-33.

Homer's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Jonesboro-Hodge, their loss dropped their record down to 9-17.

Homer strolled past Jonesboro-Hodge in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 56-37. Does Homer have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jonesboro-Hodge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
