Recap: Trinity at Meadow View Tempest vs. Wakefield School Fighting Owls
The Trinity at Meadow View Tempest were the 53-20 winner over the Wakefield School Fighting Owls when they last played one another back in February of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. Trinity at Meadow View took a 29-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wakefield School on Friday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wakefield School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aya Mason, who scored 3 points along with 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. Mason is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Ceci Turner, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Trinity at Meadow View now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Wakefield School, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity at Meadow View will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Christ Chapel Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 19th. Wakefield School's road trip will continue as they head out to face Tandem Friends at 4:30 p.m. on December 14th.
