Basketball Game Preview: Mosley Dolphins vs. Arnold Marlins

The Mosley Dolphins will challenge the Arnold Marlins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mosley has seven straight wins, Arnold has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Arnold better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Mosley really get things going. Mosley simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Arnold 57-29. The Dolphins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Mosley found their leader in freshman Faith Alvarado, who went 9 for 19 en route to 21 points in addition to six boards and six steals. What's more, Alvarado also racked up three blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Caydence Keys, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds.

Mosley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in five consecutive contests.

Mosley pushed their record up to 12-11 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Arnold, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.
