Baseball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Calabasas Coyotes. That's two games in a row now that the Cavaliers have lost by just one run.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Calabasas, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cleveland will venture away from home to take on Camarillo at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Calabasas, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Rio Mesa at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
