Baseball Game Preview: Fairport Red Raiders vs. Webster Schroeder Warriors

For the second straight game, Fairport will face off against Webster Schroeder. The Red Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fairport's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Webster Schroeder's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Fairport is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 16 runs two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Webster Schroeder on Monday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 4-2.

They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.67 runs across that stretch. As for Fairport, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-3.
