Basketball Recap: DeQuincy Takes a Loss

DeQuincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Rosepine Eagles 74-9. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 331st, while the Eagles are ranked 53rd).

DeQuincy's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Rosepine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeQuincy will welcome Pickering at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rosepine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marksville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
