Volleyball Recap: West Valley Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

West Valley extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Diego Allievi. The West Valley Mustangs blew past the San Jacinto Leadership Academy Lions 3-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Allievi, who had 13 kills, nine digs, and seven aces. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in aces.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 25-22.

West Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for San Jacinto Leadership Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, West Valley will head out on the road to square off against Temescal Canyon at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for San Jacinto Leadership Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Temecula Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
