Volleyball Recap: Trinidad Takes a Loss

Trinidad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Swallows Charter Academy Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Miners of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 12-25, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Trinidad still got an impressive performance from Alicia Barron, who had 25 digs.

Trinidad's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Swallows Charter Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Trinidad will take on Sierra Grande at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Swallows Charter Academy, they will face off against Swink at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
