Basketball Recap: Eagle Pass Takes a Loss

Eagle Pass lost against Alexander back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagle Pass Eagles took a blow against the Alexander Bulldogs, falling 66-23. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-13.

Eagle Pass has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Alexander, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-12.

Eagle Pass will square off against United at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eagle Pass is facing United at the right time seeing as United is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Alexander, they and Laredo LBJ will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
