Basketball Recap: Kankakee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Richwoods last Saturday, Kankakee came back down to earth. The Kankakee Kays fell to the Waubonsie Valley Warriors 57-53.

Kankakee's loss dropped their record down to 23-5. As for Waubonsie Valley, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 28-1.

Kankakee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waubonsie Valley, they will square off against Naperville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Waubonsie Valley is facing Naperville Central at the right time seeing as Naperville Central is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
