Baseball Game Preview: Dwight Trojans vs. Seneca Fighting Irish

Dwight is 1-9 against Seneca since March of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Trojans will look to defend their home field against the Fighting Irish at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Dwight made easy work of Newark and carried off an 8-2 win. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Seneca came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 10-6.

Seneca's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Dwight, their win bumped their record up to 14-8.
