Basketball Recap: Monahans Takes a Loss

Monahans lost against Permian back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Monahans Loboes had to suffer through a 66-17 loss at the hands of the Permian Panthers. The Loboes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monahans' loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Permian, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monahans won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Presidio at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Monahans is facing Presidio at the right time seeing as Presidio is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Permian, they will square off against Midland at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
