Volleyball Recap: Stevens Comes Up Short on the Road Against Boerne

Stevens had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Boerne Greyhounds. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Greyhounds: they've now lost three in a row.

Stevens was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Boerne work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 27-25, 25-21.

Haley Wheeler was the offensive standout of the match as she had 14 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Looking ahead, Stevens will be taking part in a tournament against Rivera at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boerne, they will take on O'Connor in a tournament on Friday.
