Volleyball Recap: Harvard Ellis Tech Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Harvard Ellis Tech took on Prince RVT on Wednesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons 25-20 in the first set.

Harvard Ellis Tech actually scored more points across those five sets (104-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-22, 16-25, 25-21, 15-11.

Prince RVT got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Khamya Walker out in front who had 15 digs and four aces. The dominant performance also gave Walker a new career-high in assists (17). Rehanna Escalera was another key player, getting 18 digs.

Harvard Ellis Tech now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Prince RVT, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harvard Ellis Tech will host Grasso Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Prince RVT, they will square off against Vinal RVT at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
