Basketball Recap: Granada Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Granada can now relate to. They fell 48-38 to the Flagler Panthers on Friday.

Flagler's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rylie Berry, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. Berry is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydnie Berry, who posted 17 points and four steals.

Granada has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. Flagler has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Granada does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Flagler, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against McClave at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. McClave is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60 points per game this season.
