Baseball Recap: Alpha Omega Academy Takes a Loss

Alpha Omega Academy lost against First Baptist Christian back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Alpha Omega Academy Lions wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The match marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Alpha Omega Academy fell to 9-1-1. As for First Baptist Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alpha Omega Academy will take on Baytown Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Alpha Omega Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Baytown Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them. First Baptist Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Francis Episcopal at 4:00 p.m. on April 1st.
