Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Petersburg). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Liberty Mountaineers 82-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Vikings have posted since December 28, 2024.

The victory got Petersburg back to even at 9-9. As for Liberty, their defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Petersburg will take on Tucker County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty, they will face off against Braxton County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
