Volleyball Recap: Izabella Ziencina and Aila Reich Secure Win for Pitman

Pitman lost to Amador Valley back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Pride came out on top against the Dons by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pride.

Leading Pitman to victory were Aila Reich and Izabella Ziencina. Reich had 16 digs and two assists, while Ziencina had 12 assists and three digs. Reich has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played. Nicoletta Dowd also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Pitman's victory bumped their record up to 23-9. As for Amador Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.

Pitman has already played their next contest (against Enochs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Amador Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Livermore on the 14th.
