Basketball Game Preview: Frontier Falcons vs. Traders Point Christian Knights

The Frontier Falcons will face off against the Traders Point Christian Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Frontier is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

Frontier is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They took down Clinton Central 58-42.

Meanwhile, Traders Point Christian can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game last Tuesday. Everything went their way against Central Christian Academy as Traders Point Christian made off with a 65-39 victory.

Frontier better keep an eye on Kam Reese. He was instrumental in Traders Point Christian's win, going 6-for-7 en route to 14 points in addition to seven assists and five boards. Reese has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Quentin Jones was another key player, shooting 56% from the field on his way to 13 points.

Traders Point Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central Christian Academy only four assists.

Frontier's record now sits at 16-7. As for Traders Point Christian, their record now sits at 7-15.

Frontier strolled past Traders Point Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 56-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Frontier since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
