Basketball Recap: Chestatee Comes Up Short

Chestatee lost against White County back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chestatee War Eagles fell to the White County Warriors 53-48.

Chestatee's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for White County, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Chestatee will face off against Cross Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cross Creek is on a nine-game streak of home wins, Chestatee a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for White County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-59 defeat against Pickens on the 15th.
