Basketball Game Preview: Hug Hawks vs. South Tahoe Vikings

Hug hasn't had much luck against South Tahoe recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Hawks will jump right back in to play the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. South Tahoe took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Hug, who comes in off a win.

Hug saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top against Incline by a score of 54-42. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Highlanders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, South Tahoe ended up a good deal behind Galena on Thursday and lost 63-45. The loss put an end to the Vikings' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Tahoe fell to 2-1. As for Hug, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Hug lost to South Tahoe on the road by a decisive 58-42 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
