 Beaver was not the first on the board  on Monday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the Ambridge Bridgers by a score of  10-7. This was payback for Beaver, who suffered  a  6-1  loss the last time these two teams met.
 The team  relied heavily on  Tyler Kisling, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Derek Hughes, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 On Ambridge's side,  Grant Uvodich and  Nate Thomas stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Uvodich  went 1-for-3 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run, while  Thomas  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.  Teagan Baker was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Beaver's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Ambridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
 Beaver will have a chance to go back-to-back against Ambridge: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
