Baseball Preview: Cleveland Warriors vs. Putnam Kingsmen
The Cleveland Warriors will take on the Putnam Kingsmen at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
Cleveland came up short against Canby on Wednesday, falling 14-4. The Warriors have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Arlo Oetting was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Noah Karoli, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Putnam sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over McDaniel on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Kingsmen.
