Middletown had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Wyoming on Monday. The Middies blew past the Cowboys 3-0. The Middies not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 2nd (when they won 3-0).

Middletown is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Wyoming, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Middletown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Oak Hills on the 22nd. After both having extra time off, Wyoming and Ryle will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
