Palmetto is 8-2 against Belton-Honea Path since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Palmetto Mustangs will take on the Belton-Honea Path Bears at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Palmetto and three for Belton-Honea Path.

Palmetto fell victim to Christ Church Episcopal and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 5-0 to the Cavaliers.

Meanwhile, Belton-Honea Path scored the most goals they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of West-Oak by a score of 3-2.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 3-5. As for Belton-Honea Path, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Palmetto took their victory against Belton-Honea Path when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Palmetto since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
