Softball Recap: Nathan Hale Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Nathan Hale unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Holy Names Academy on Tuesday, falling 13-4. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with Holy Names Academy: they've now lost seven in a row.

Libby Lobkovich made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Nathan Hale will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethel at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Holy Names Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Shorewood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
