King had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Communication Media Arts on Thursday. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 16-8 margin over the Pharaohs. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won 12 matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Grayce Green and Tae'Iona Hill did most of the damage at the plate: Green went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one triple, while Hill went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kyria Stokes-Jackson, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs.

King always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive games.

King pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.4 runs over those games. As for Communication Media Arts, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, King will host Cody at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Comets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.18 runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of. Communication Media Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
