Lansdowne extends home losing streak to three

Recap: Lansdowne Vikings vs. Loch Raven Raiders

The Lansdowne Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by Loch Raven 67-32. Lansdowne was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-14.

Loch Raven got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Meona Boykin out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Boykin has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Destaney Harris, who scored 19 points along with two steals.

Lansdowne bumped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Loch Raven, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Lansdowne won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Dundalk at 5:30 p.m. on January 18th. Dundalk has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 11. As for Loch Raven, they will take on Archbishop Spalding at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
