Softball Recap: Clear Brook Comes Up Short

Clear Brook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-5 to the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs.

Caydence Franklin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. She also put up an RBI, which washer first of the season. Estrella Rowe was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Clear Brook's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lamar Consolidated, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clear Brook will square off against Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lamar Consolidated, they will face off against Columbia at 6:30 p.m. on February 28th.
